Peter co-founded and has lead Asia Principal Capital (APC) since 2008. 

 

Prior to APC, Peter founded Committed Capital one of the first ‘active manager’ venture capital and private equity firms. Committed Capital operated in Australia, UK, and Asia focused on supporting founders. The firm was the initial backer and advisor to Optal (PSP) & eNett International the Australian based fintech unicorn and to Fleet Australia the successful spin out of the Commonwealth Bank fleet business unit. 

 

During early 2000 Peter developed a relationship with some high net worth European investors and continues to be the primary manager of their personal investment affairs in South East Asia and North America.  

 

Peter started his career in Real Estate across commercial, industrial, and in related businesses including property development, finance, insurance broking, construction, construction maintenance and advertising.

 

After his time in real estate Peter founded, developed and sold a variety of businesses across; healthcare, strategy consulting, agriculture, commodity trading, technology, venture and private equity including co-founding Fast Access Networks (one of Australia’s first ISP businesses).

 

During this time Peter has led a variety of negotiations and mergers and acquisitions across numerous industries in Australia, America, Europe and developing countries. He has also led a number of workout and turnaround transactions.
