Philip King Director
Philip has been a senior executive in a diverse range of financial services and IT businesses for over 25 years. He has been a private equity investor for 20 years and has significant company director experience. Moving to Australia from the UK in 1990 to consult to one of Austrlia’s largest banks, Philip held a key management role in one of the largest ever Australian financial services IT projects. Following the successful completion of that project he co-founded one of Australia’s leading project management consulting companies, before exiting in a sale to a listed company. This business became the leading provider of project management and integration services to Australian banking and financial services. During this time a number of other businesses were also established including recruitment and mortgage processing businesses in which Philip held Board and senior executive management positions. All of these businesses were successfully exited via trade sales. Previously, Philip held senior management and consulting roles in some of the world’s leading financial services institutions in the UK, Europe and South Africa. Most recently, Philip was CEO of an electronic payments buisness providing clearing and settlement solutions globally in selected verticals. Philip holds a BA (Honours) degree in Economics and Accounting and a Masters degree in Computing.
